Measuring up
Accurate measurements are the foundation of bespoke work that fits. Below you can read how to measure yourself — and how our free measuring service takes that off your hands.
Measuring up yourself
Always measure at several points and use the smallest measurement. Work in millimetres and measure the actual opening, not the existing window frame or frame.
- Measure the width at the top, middle and bottom
- Measure the height on the left, in the middle and on the right
- Check that the surface is level and load-bearing
- Note any obstacles such as downpipes, gutters and facade lights
